From the shut down of I-64 to Steve Fawcett's plane wreckage found, Kimora Lee Simmons' homecoming to St. Louis duiring STL Spring Fashion Week to Obama's historic Rally in October at the Gateway Arch, and Loosecannon's Fortune NYE Bash at 555 Building to the Riverfront Times' Best of the RFT party held recently at Skybox, The STL has had its share of newsworthy events , provacative people and bitz-makers that has made an impact in 2008.

Next month, OUTTOWN will have its annual Best of the STL 2008 Countdown Blog that will be posted Dec. 19, 2008. On that blog, we will have countdowns of the Top Ten News Stories of 2008, the Top Ten STL Social Events of 2008, and The Top Ten Socialites/Promoters of 2008.

We will also have the Top Ten Too Much Playin Pics captured by the OUTCAM, national Celebs who came through the STL, and the Many Faces of Ma'at on the Social scene.

So what do you think should be the #1 STL news story, social event and socialite/promoter in the STL?
