OUT 374--UC ME and Derrty present KYJUAN DERFUL WEEKEND-FASHION COMEDY BRUCH at Lumen April 13

Before I get into the Fashion Comedy Brunch, The picture ABOVE is Mr. Duke, who attended the event. If you look closely, brotha man cut off his eyebrows and tatooed the words CRYING FREEDOM on his eyebrows (CRY is on his right and FREEDOM is on his left). The story behind the "brow tatts" is was when he was on lockdown he tatooed the phrase CRY FREEDOM on his eyebrows to represent his desire to get out. He was very generous when I asked if I could take the pic. Good thing he did. Is this the new fashion trend? Ive never seen this in the STL! We will see.

Monoploy Promotions' Mocha Latte and assistant Mr. Duane who was collecting and selling tix at the entrance. The event was a Fashion Comedy Bunch (dubbed 3 in 1): A brunch, a fashion show and comedy show.


Local jazz band Under the Influence was the entertianment duirng the brunch portion of the event.









Guests arrive to the event.











The STL fashion line Greedy Genuis' logo hanged above the balcony.

The host was comedian Darius Bradford who got the crowd cracked up from everything from Obama, the gas prices, the band, the food and the crowd. He also mentioned that he is opening up a comedy club called The Big Joker inside of the Union Station in early May.













Bradford brought up a few members of the crowd to showcase their talents in an impromtu talent show. Here was Miss Tracy of Hazelwood.















Tracy sang Anita Baker's "Sweet Love"














The We All We Got mascot was there.



















Sarah was the second signer to come up to sing. She sang, Mary J's "I'm Goin Down."















STL singer Seven performed Beyonce's 'Deja Vu" and Jill Scott, "The Way."

INTERMISSION








Bradford walked through the crowd to enetratin. He brought up the lady who is sitting to his right (pink outfit). She told the crowd she was 50 years old and he asked if she would model her outfit and she did. It was one of the highlights of the event.

Comedian Cuttin T. entertained the crowd with his brand of keepin it real humor.
