DARIUS BRADFORD's 1st and 2nd SATURDAY COMEDY AT THE PLAZA on N. BROADWAY Host Darius Bradford was the host and kept it funny (even passing out free gifts that totalled well over $200 bones)
Headliner Michael "mowtha sucka" Blackson kept the crowd in stitches, but the crowd only got 15 minutes. He had the crowd rollin though talkin about how African men can make a women's uteruses fall out when its time to do the act. has anyoen see the flick he did with Master P called, "Repos?" He is hilarious in it.
Opening act Howie Bell was funny. Loud, but funny. he had us going talkin about how grandmammas say things twice, "Sit your ass dowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn, sit your ass down!)
The crowd at the Plaza.
EVENT-VIEWZ. On Saturday, I checked out two events. The first was Darius Bradford's Saturday night comedy at Broadway Plaza. On the bill was Howie Bell and Michael Blackson. Both were good but surprisingly headliner Michael Blackson only did 15 minutes, no more than Howie Bell. I don't know what was going on with that. But it was cool. Darius passed out gifts to the crowd from pocket cameras to photo albums. Dj Quinn was on the 1s and 2s. Afterward, err body had to go next door to St. Louis Nites to exit (a way of getting people to party next door as well).

I left out and drove over to Models and Bottles at Savor. It was OK. Not a huge turnout, but it was what it was. The intimate crowd go their drank and party on (Speaking of dranks, thanks Mr. Mark Jones for the free drink). I staye dfor about an hour and gave Mocha latte a ride over to the Loft to help her pass out fliers near Olive and Compton.
There was an interesting turn of events that occurred while I was helping Mocha pass out fliers (more like being her bodyguard. LOL) near Locust and Compton. As we walked up to the cars to put fliers on cars, we witnessed a robbery of one of the cars! A black jeep parked next adjacent to a silver car and busted out the left side window, popped up the trunk and started scramblin around, then drove off! We couldnt beleive it. What wa salso trippe dout of it, a cops' car were east of Locust close by when the robbery happened! that was too much playin.
Therre also were several purses that were on the Locust and Compton as well and another car window busted (this one was south of Compton across from the SLU parking garage). We let one of the cops know what wassup and hopefully got that taken care of. So word to the wise, yawl, be careful while your parked on those streets when you are going out and about!
