EVENT-VIEWZ. It was busy yet again on Saturday nite fo rme as I attended two events. The first was the new social organziation called What's Yo Flava, an all-girls organziation that focuses on events for same gender loving women. The one I attended was held at Luma Bar in the Central West End dubbed "Gilrs Nite Out." Every now and then I like to mix it up and go to events that cater to the same gender loving community (last year I attended a Black Pride event held at Magnolia's where Noah's Arc star Jenson Atwood who plays "Wade" was therre signing autographs). It is important to my website as well as myself me to include diverse voices and support those who are seeking social equality.

This event, which was dee-jayed by Grant Unger, was a melting pot of partiers who came to support the organization. I was also glad to see that they allowed men to attend who were there in support(One particular well known VIP guy stayed outside in front of the bar which was puzzling to me as to why they stayed outside).
It was also interesting that the women I shot with my cam were very receptive and comfortable of my taking pics of them. They were therre to have a good time, bar none.
I stayed therre til about midnite and it was off to 609 in teh Delmar loop where there were two events in one going on therre.
At 609, all o fthe party people and well wishers were already inside. I was able to get in comped through the MLP (Mocha Latte Pass. LOL). the two events that were going on was Relax and Breathe creator Robert Kirk was celebrating his b-day (I didnt get how old he was turning) on the bar side of the venue and So Diverse's Deidria B. was having a farewell party. She was moving to Atlanta to be with her man ( I was wondering why I havent seen her in the STL for the past month). She and her well wishers celebrated on the resturant side of the venue.
I spent the remaining hour to party on both sides taking pics. DJ Reminisce was on the 2s and 2s.
And interestingly enough, outside whurr err body congreagted was more livelier than inside!
