EVENT-VIEWZ. The third and last event I attended last Saturday was Laughs On The Landing. It was goin on 930 ish in the eve and after saying my goodbyes to Jessie Taylor at his wedding reception at Light on the Landing, I walked to my car in order to change in my third outfir to attend thr comedy show. Whiel I wa sgetting my suitcase form my car, a homeless man who was mute (so he was I guess) who begged for money by giving me sheets of paper. The papers were saying that he needed money and that he was suffering from throat cancer or something like this. Man, I said to myself, I just did a fashion show in regards to cancer and here is a homeless man who supposedly had throat cancer.
Anyway, I gave the homeless brotha a dollar and proceeded to changing my suit into a casual attire in my car (I felt so much like Clark Kent for real. LOL) and I was sweating like a pig to a slaughter house from all that changing and all.
I drove to Lacledes Landing and got therre about 10 p.m. to catch the 10:15 show of Donnell Rawlings aka Ashy larry from the Dave Chappelle Show. I parked across from the comedy club and walked up to Big Joe, the bouncer (who is also part owner of stlouis-online.com) and talked to him about attending Jessie Taylor's event, then proceeded to get my VIP band and waited for the show to start. I didnt bring my camera cause I ran out of flick space from taking shots from the previous events so I just left it in the car.
JVar performed yet again and focusded his attention on the front row of white ladies. He fancied one of them by pumpin his front in her face. She of course was blushing to high Heaven.
When I got settled to a spot, opener Rob Durham performed. He was cool. He reminded me of Jerry Seinfield--kind of dry humor, but funny.
Then, I started to get the head nod forward. I was exhausted but I wanted to check out Donnell Rawlings. He was mad funny. He is twisted in his humor. One joke I remember when he was talkin about white guys with flat butts who argue with someone and their butt moves the same time as their mouths. he turned around and started yelling and making his butt move at the same.
He told the crowd that he was extremely homophobic and said that he thought for along time that men chewing gum was gay and that he only chew Big Red. Then, after that, another interesting momnet was when one of the white ladies up front had a toy white penis in her hands and he asked to see it, then it dawned on him that he was holding it and gave it back to the lady. CLASSIC.
I wanted to stay for all his set, but I was gettin extremely sleepy and was wondering if I was gonna be able to drive home. Just when I found a moment to leave, I was grabbed by my arm by comedian Javon Bibbs and I told him I had to go. He said he was leaving too. I guess he was tired from the wedding reception too. (I also saw St Lunatic Kyjuan come inside the club hand in hand with a sexy young sista).
So when I got to my car and drive, I decided to drive to the Casino Queen parking lot which was about 2 miles away, and slept in my car. I wasnt trusting driving home. It was enough I clipped my rear veiw mirror a week ago. LOL

That is too much playin! I guess it goes to show you, you gotta pay to play…… Did ya'll here the sista Chasity Rodgers from Belleville-on Majic 104.9’s Breakfast Crew show with Tammi Holland? She was the sista who got her toes burned from the pyrotechnic malfunction at the Beyonce concert. She sounded really geeked when she said that Beyonce cam eto visit her and her family. Tammi then asked her would she sue and Chasity said that she is now just trying to heal and walking on crutches. Man, she is crazy if she doesn’t sue and she said she just got a pedi that day. Oh you know its on. LOL……………..Whats up with this new laws in the STL where you can have pups eat in the restaurant and you can shoot trespassers who walk on your lawn? Shouldn’t dogs be used for BEWARE oF DOG warnings for trespassers to kill two birds with one stone? …Whats up with Mayor Slay not wanting to give IKE TURNER a proclamation when he comes to the Lou this fall to headline the Big Muddy Blues Fest. Slay say he didnt wantto offend women groups casue of his past wife abuse of Tina. He passes a law for dogs can eat with humans, but he got problems with giving a key to the city to an icon? Whats really goin on here? What is really goin on with this whole Nelly boycott with the New St. Louis rapper sled by mixtape rapper Bishop that took place last week in front of vintage Vinyl in U City (in Nellys birthplace BTW). Louis rappers (Huey, Jibbs, etc) on a mix tape remix. My question is, Is the Lou that old enough to have a new school and old school beef?.........................I see that the Casino Queen is placing the finishing touches of a brand new Casino Queen added next to the old one. The open house will be August 2….What was up with that long parking lot of cars last Friday on I-64/40 goin toward STL. Construction of new pavement toward the STL cause people to be in traffic for three hours! All IDOT could say was sorry (I think some free gas for East Side citizens would help the apology even more!)………………...Message therapist Kamren Holbert told me recently that while he was giving Beyonce a message backstage of the Scott Trade Center that she said to him that she was goin to introduce him to his sister Solonge. Hmm, does that mean she is available?................I heard Nicci Raoch, former Freeman Bosley Junior Show personality, on the show last Sunday saying how much she missed them. Does this mean she is returning?....Last Saturday, Why when I asked the attendant of the drive thru at Rallys on Lindell for ketchup for my fries, that she gave me two packets and said that that was the last two packets of ketchup they had?..........I hear that they had a screening of the controversial new series The DL Chronicles (picture Soul Food meets Noah’s Arc) at the Centene Center recently…My girl Marquita Parker got a hot new blog going.
