OUT 600--OUT ON THE TOWN--GUCCI MANE at SOCIETY April 22 and ROBIN THICKE/ J HUD at FOX April 23

Photos by King Yella, Tre Williams and Erica Brooks (last two pics) Gucci Mane with Society owner Jonathan Burns. Burns celebrated his b-day last Wednesday with Mane as the celebrity guest. One of the of the nite was the blinged out arm bracelet Mane wore on his right forearm!

Mane performed before the record breaking corwd. He performed such hits as "Icy," "Freaky Gul," "Stoopid." and "Make the Trap Say Aye," with OJ the Juiceman who was also in attendance.

We heard that close to 4,000 folk were there, but there were several hundred who stood outside trying to get inside.

Outside, the lines were FIVE lines deep that went from the door to about a mile out at Drury Inn Hotel! The lines started rated at 8 p.m. By 10:30, the price to get in the club went from $20 to $150 to jump the line to get inside and folk were dropping benjamins to do it. Who say we are in a recession? LOL

Mane with Major Brands' Tre Williams. His company was the alcohol sponsors of the event. He said that his product Nuvo was flyin off the bar walls like Superman!

On Thursday, folk lined up for the Robin Thicke/Jennifer Hudson concert at the Fox

Robin Thicke was the opening act for J Hud. Reports say that he redeemed himself this go round from his awkward performance in 2007 when he opened for Beyonce at Scott Trade Center. He was swagger sharp and hsi singing was reminise of a young marvin gaye from what reports say. he performed hits such as "Lost Without U," and "Magic Touch," and songs from his CD's "The Evoluation," and "Somthing Else" such as "I Need Love," "Teach U a Lesson," ""Sidestep." "Dreamworld" and "Can U Believe." The surprise of the evening according to reports was when he rapped a few verses for Lil Wayne's, "A Milli."

Hudson delivered a 50 minute set from songs from her debut eponymous CD, and music from "Dreamgirls" and "The Secret Life of Bees." She performed "One Night Only" (the opener), "I Love You I Do," "We Gon’ Fight," "You Pulled Me Through," "Pocketbook (she reportedly swang a red purse during her performance) ," and cover songs Aretha's "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" and Chaka's "Sweet Thing." She also performed her hits "If This Isn’t Love" and "Spotlight," and her finale song, " "And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going." BTW, does she look preggo on here? LOL
